Cleaning and Maintenance To clean and maintain the satin-finish stainless steel, simply wipe or polish in the direction of the grain. Remove any cleaning or soap residue from the surface with water and wipe dry with a clean cloth. Caution: Avoid cleaning products containing bleach, hydrochloric acids, or chlorides, as well as abrasive scrubbing powders and steel wool, which can leave behind fine particles that cause surface rust.

Operation The cover of the disposal unit flips up for convenient disposal of sanitary napkins and for servicing the containers.

Installation For partitions with particle board or other solid core, secure the unit with two #8 x 3/4'' (4.2 x 19mm) sheet-metal screws (not furnished) at all points indicated by an S, or provide through-bolts, nuts, and washers. For hollow-core metal partitions, ensure a solid backing into which sheet-metal screws can be securely fastened.
